A: Did you know lauan can vary in weight as much as 36%? An 8' panel of lauan can have a variance of 3-5 lbs. from panel to panel. Our 3.0mm GenPly weighs 16.8 lbs per 8' panel, and 3.4 lauan can weigh over 16.0 lbs per 8' panel. GenPly offers you what lauan cannot-- consistent, batch-to-batch specifications. Technical Data

GenPly is a wood-based composite panel produced exclusively from domestic softwood and sawmill waste. Adhesives used meet very strict regulations and all other components used are also far below restrictions set by American authorities. The ph-value of the raw board is 4.5 ± 0.5.
