Genesis recycles 10,256 tons annually

Recycling unused material during manufacturing is another way we’re trying to minimize our waste-

> Vinyl film scrap: made into flooring products- 528,000 lbs / year

> Saw dust: used for animal bedding- 16,040,000 lbs / year

> Metal banding: 520,000 lbs / year

> Wood skids and pallets: ground into mulch- 960,000 lbs / year

> Office paper waste: recycled- 1440 lbs / year

> Hardwood scrap:- 2,464,000 lbs / year

In all, Genesis Products recycles 20,513,440 lbs of material yearly- over 10,256 tons of trash not going to our local landfills. And that’s definitely a good thing.
